Key Responsibilities

As an  IT & Information Security (IS) Specialist managing critical infrastructure in a scale-up, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the resilience, security, and performance of our digital and operational systems.

IT Operations & MSP Management 

  • Work closely with managed service provider, ensuring tickets, issues, and projects are progressed effectively
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex or recurring IT issues
  • Maintain oversight of service performance, contracts, and SLAs, ensuring value for money
  • Maintain asset register, recommend and manage procurement, and establish replacement schedules

 User Support, Onboarding & Access

  • IT onboarding for new joiners, including access approvals, equipment coordination, and system readiness
  • Act as secondary support for helpdesk queries where escalation or business context is required
  • Ensure a smooth, consistent IT experience for users
  • Ensure employees are enrolled into the Usecure security awareness training platform

 Sites, Growth & Integrations

  • Coordinate IT setup for new sites, including network installations and local readiness
  • Support new entity integrations by working with local users, identifying data for migration, and overseeing IT onboarding
  • Act as the local IT contact for all users, including occasional on-site visits

 Microsoft 365 & Core Systems

  • Approve licence purchases and access requests
  • Support integrations between Microsoft 365 and key business systems (HRIS, ERP and third-party tools)
  • Lead Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation during entity integrations, working with internal stakeholders and external partners

 Cyber Security, Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain and evolve information security policies
  • Maintain the cyber risk register and follow up on actions
  • Track and improve security posture against recognised benchmarks (e.g. CIS Microsoft 365 Foundations)  
  • Lead third-party cybersecurity assessments and maintain records for reporting
  • Act as point of contact for cyber insurance, including renewals and incident notifications

Your talent and knowledge

  • Technically savvy, with a strong understanding of both IT operations, information security principles, and business systems.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish is a strong plus
  • Familiar with Service Level Management (SLAM), contract evaluation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP, HRIS, Power BI is a plus
  • Highly organised and structured, with strong planning skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively with operational teams.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and willing to take on tasks outside the IT domain.
