Key Responsibilities
As an IT & Information Security (IS) Specialist managing critical infrastructure in a scale-up, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the resilience, security, and performance of our digital and operational systems. Based in Barcelona or Artea, you’ll work across departments to support day-to-day IT needs while also contributing to long-term infrastructure planning, cybersecurity compliance, and the protection of sensitive information assets.
You will manage key systems and reporting tools that underpin our business operations and decision-making.
Manage user access, licenses, usage statistics, and reporting to ensure optimal use and cost-efficiency.
Helpdesk Coordination
Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, escalating to 2nd-level support partners when needed.
LAN/WAN
Together with our service providers establishing LAN/WAN for new sites and maintain a stable, secure and adequate network for the existing sites"
Self-Service & Training Resources
Maintain and improve self-training materials and self-service tools on the intranet to boost user independence.
IT Budget & Asset Management
Oversee budget for IT expenditure including physical assets and MSPs. Take oversight of IT assets across the group, make procurement recommendations and advise on replacement schedules.
Supplier & SLA Management
Monitor IT service contracts and SLAs to ensure we’re getting value for money and identify needs for additional services.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Maintain and test backup routines and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Information Security Oversight
Monitor IS policies and controls, including data protection, email security, access management, endpoint protection, penetration / phishing testing, and incident response procedures.
Compliance & Risk Management
Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and contribute to risk assessments and audits.
Awareness & Training
Promote a culture of security awareness by supporting training initiatives and internal communications on IS best practices.
System Ownership
Act as the technical owner for key systems such as SCADA, HRIS, ERP, and other business-critical platforms, ensuring they are well secured, well-maintained, and aligned with operational needs.
Dashboard & Reporting
Develop and maintain company-wide dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
Provide IT and IS-related support to other departments and contribute to non-IT projects when needed.
